Factors Related to Personal Health Data Sharing: Data Usefulness, Sensitivity and Anonymity

Using an online survey, we examined the relationships between perceived usefulness, sensitivity, and anonymity of personal health data people’s willingness to share it with researchers. An analysis 112 responses showed that perceptions are related type data, their trust in data’s anonymity, sociodemographic characteristics. In general, found people do not completely identities remain anonymous when sharing anonymously We also they more willing researchers if perceive as useful for public research, sensitive, identity will after it. age, gender, occupation, region residence may be regarding data.
